Nonprofit developer BRIDGE Housing has broken ground on Goldcrest Apartments in Beaverton, Oregon. The 75-unit affordable development is rising at the intersection of SW 172nd Terrace & SW Goldcrest Lane. It is a part of the South Cooper Mountain neighborhood on the southwest outskirts of Portland, Oregon.
Goldcrest Apartments in Oregon features amenities such as two elevators and a common center with a shared kitchen on the main floor. Additionally, it features laundry rooms on each level and indoor bike parking. These amenities will be complemented by a lot of parks, shopping centers, and schools in close proximity to the Goldcrest Apartments in Oregon, especially along SW Scholls Ferry Road.
The structure will be certified as Earth Advantage Platinum.

The project’s design is being led by Salazar Architect, while the general contractor is Colas Construction.

The developer got a total of $32.8 million in construction finance from different sources, including the City of Beaverton Housing Investment Funds, Key Bank, and SDC Offset, according to the documentation provided to the Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries.
Additionally, Metro Affordable Housing Bond, Oregon Housing and Community Services, Washington County HPOF, and the Energy Trust of Oregon are among other partners funding the Goldcrest Apartments project.
On-site resident services for the development, which will accommodate tenants making between 30 and 60% of the area’s median income, will be provided by Hacienda CDC.
