The City Registry Office is a historic city structure. With the addition of extensive public realm upgrades and better entry to the shopping center, the Registry Office will be transformed into a contemporary cafe-bistro. This includes a total renovation, a four-level enlargement, a new dining hall, and other improvements and upgrades. In addition, fresh public art, and a redone pedestrian bridge over Rideau Street.

Furthermore, the renovation also included the addition of a new wing that included the old Ogilvy Building. The ancient Registry Office building will be included as a key component of the residential project through preservation and integration into the new homes.
