The groundbreaking of the new Rino Cambria Hotel took place recently in the heart of Denver’s Mile High City in Colorado. The upscale brand is bringing its second hotel to Colorado’s capital as part of a nationwide expansion. Choice Hotels International Inc., will serve as the franchisee for this new seven-story, 153-room hotel, owned by Cambria Hotels.
Janis Cannon, a senior V.P for Choice Hotels, described Mile High City as the perfect location for Cambria’s expansion. He said the new Cambria Hotel would be surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood and enviable scenery of the Rocky Mountains. With its location purposely positioned as a favorite urban destination for travelers, the hotel is expected to provide a locally tailored upscale experience.

Rino Cambria Hotel, which is the latest addition to Cambria’s hotel collection, is currently being developed at 3601 Brighton Blvd. Ideally, this location provides easy access to several popular Denver attractions such as Union Station and Denver’s Pro Sports Complex. Moreover, it also positions modern travelers, a few minutes away from the city’s central business district and Colorado’s Convention Center.
Development plans for the Rino Cambria Hotel
Development plans for the Rino Cambria Hotel include multi-purpose indoor and outdoor spaces, which double as relaxation or work areas. Additionally, all guest rooms will have contemporary and sophisticated designs, which offer fixtures, abundant lighting, and plush beddings. Other featured amenities include a restaurant, fitness center, rooftop bar with mountain views, and spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors.
The Cambria Hotel will incorporate locally inspired designs and décor from Denver and Colorado-based artists. In order to depict the unique nature of the surrounding community, several local artworks will be added to the design. This also includes a custom exterior mural reflecting Colorado’s distinct landscape.
The Rino Cambria Hotel is being developed by HighSide Development and its construction partner, Brinkmann Constructors. Meanwhile, Baskervill is serving as the project’s architect and interior designer. The developers intend to have the hotel open by December 2023.
