ViaWest Group has broken ground on Sight Logistics Park, their newest cutting-edge industrial complex in Tempe, Arizona. The development is located in Tempe at 6820 S. Harl Avenue along the highly visible I-10 corridor.

The project is the second being developed by ViaWest along the I-10 corridor.  The first was the Converge Logistics Center.  The three-building infill project is located on the west side of the I-10 between Ray Road and Chandler Boulevard.

With its site just over three miles south of the I-10, the Converge Logistics Center is being developed in collaboration with Willmeng Construction. It is reportedly almost finished.

An insight into the Sight Logistics Park in Arizona

The infill and redevelopment project is being developed in Tempe at 6820 S. Harl Avenue. It occupies a total area of the 17.97-acre site that once housed Insight Enterprises’ global headquarters.

Two contemporary industrial structures totaling 356,904 square feet will make up Sight Logistics Park. The buildings, Building 1 and 2, each have 155,717 and 201,187 square feet, respectively. Moreover, both of these Class A structures have 32-foot clear heights and 33 dock-high doors in addition to four drive-in doors.

The former Insight offices are being demolished, and work is expected to be completed in July 2023.

Sight Logistics Park project team and remarks

McCall & Associates Architects designed Sight Logistics Park, while Willmeng Construction is the project’s general contractor. The leasing for the park is being handled by Colliers International in Arizona. Particularly, a team that comprises Rob Martensen, Phil Breidenbach, and Sam Jones is in charge of the leasing.

“The ViaWest Portfolio will benefit greatly from the addition of Sight Logistics Park. You don’t get the chance to create a cutting-edge industrial complex on the site of a Fortune 500 office building every day,” said Danny Swancey.

Swancey, who is a Partner of ViaWest Group further said that the project has been carefully planned to support a range of sizes and uses catering to a wide population. These include producers, distributors, and all varieties of general industrial customers.

“Working on this next outstanding industrial complex with the City of Tempe has been such a pleasure,” explained Swancey.
