The work will be completed under two contracts totaling more than £30 million. The largest is the £17.3 million Brent Indian Centre project. It entails demolishing an existing structure and replacing it with a new community facility and 29 affordable homes. The Brent Indian Community will relocate to the new development. Consequently, it will include a large multi-purpose hall, commercial kitchen, offices, and an IT training room.

The second contract is for the nearby £13.6 million Learie Constantine Community Centre project. It will also include the demolition of a building to make way for the Learie Constantine Centre’s new home. Furthermore, 26 new homes consisting of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments will be constructed.
