The construction of the second phase of Diyar Al Muharraq Deep Gravity Foul Sewer in Bahrain, which aims to deliver sewage services to the Mozoon residential project, Era Homes project, as well as the Retail and Marina Promenade, has been completed.
The project’s milestone has been said to align with Diyar Al Muharraq‘s aim of creating a fully-integrated, futuristic master-planned city, that provides its residents and communities with the highest quality of infrastructure, facilities, and services. This step also comes as part of Diyar’s commitment to completing all the necessary infrastructure for the future development of the Northern Islands within the master plan.
The CEO Engineer of Diyar Al Muharraq, Ahmed Ali Al Amadi explained that their vision is built upon a sustainable framework of environmental responsibility. He said that the Diyar Al Muharraq Deep Gravity Foul Sewer in Bahrain is proof of the companys commitment to developing a smart, modern, and environmentally friendly city while leaving a minimum trace of carbon footprint.

The Diyar Al Muharraq Deep Gravity Foul Sewer, designed to be completely self-functioning and autonomous, will reportedly allow for the seamless transfer of wastewater directly into the ground storage tanks that are located at the entrance of the city. This will be achieved by enabling the wastewater to be pumped into the treatment plant that is connected to the local sewage system.
According to Al Amadi, the Diyar Al Muharraq Deep Gravity Foul Sewer is just but one of the projects that are a part of all the necessary infrastructure that is needed for future developments of the Northern Islands.
