The DMCC uptown tower project has officially reached a significant construction milestone. The megaproject in Dubai aims to redefine the emirate’s grandeur skyline.
The DMCC uptown tower project implementation began in August 2020. During peak construction, the team built an entire floor every two days. The project is scheduled for handover later this year.

Completion of the DMCC uptown tower‘s façade
The project boasts a total of 8,542 glass panels. The panels were installed on the 340-meter tower. The Dubai Development Authority confirmed that the building’s façade had been fully installed. The project used an integrated manufacturing and design approach.
The façade was completed through the use of innovative technologies. These technologies used included digital tracking systems as well as 3D modeling. Through embracing innovative building practices, the project witnessed enhanced efficiencies. Therefore, allowing the project to be fabricated in line with the schedule requirements.
A replica of the brilliance of diamonds
The tower was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. The building features an eloquent and faceted glass façade. It replicates the brilliance of diamonds. This design helps illuminate the interior spaces with natural and soft light. The project will also include a 188-key 5-star luxury hotel.
Additionally, extensive conference facilities, Grade A offices, and exclusive restaurants will also be available. The DMCC uptown tower project also boasts a total number of 17 million man-hours. The installation of its façade system was completed with no lost time. Further proving the committed dedication of the entire project team to prioritizing safety.
