Ginco General Contracting has been awarded a contract for the construction of the second phase of District One West in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. Meydan, are part of Dubai Holding Real Estate and are the developers for the luxury villas residences. The villas will offer a waterfront view of the iconic Crystal Lagoon. Ginco signed the project for US$272 million (AED 1 billion) and has had experience in the construction industry in the UAE for over 35 years. They specialise in the handling of associated infrastructure and supporting works in large-scale luxry developments.

District One West is located four kilometers from Downtown Dubai and 14 kilometers from the shoreline. It will feature a mix of four, five, and six bedroom luxury homes fitted with state-of-the-art amenities. The entire community is expected to be completed within the first quarter of 2028. There will be a total of 229 villas which will share facilities such as a clubhouse, sports courts, outdoor fitness centres, and cycling and pedestrian trails. Additionally, there will be shaded picnic spots and a scenic boardwalk. What’s more, 60% of the neighbourhood will be dedicated to green parks and gardens for residents to enjoy.
