The Austin-based developer, Inspire Development, recently broke ground on a 306-unit Eden apartment complex in northwest Austin, Texas. However, this project is only the initial phase of the developer’s $2 billion Pearson Ranch mixed-use development. Ultimately, the entire project will add housing, office, retail, community, and cultural spaces to the region, including a 30-acre green space.
According to Inspire, the Eden apartment will bring high-quality housing to its location at Texas 45 and West Parmer Lane. Brett Ames, Inspire’s managing principal, also mentioned that the apartments would be in close proximity to high-tech employers. Therefore he said the project would help more people live close to where they work. Apple’s new $1 billion corporate campus is about 2 miles away from the new apartment complex.

Development plans for The Eden apartment project
The Eden apartment will consist of two-and three-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 672 to 1,511 square feet. This will be a market-rate property featuring the latest technology features, such as smart locks and thermostats. On top of that, all units will include 10-foot-high ceilings, gas appliances, built-in kitchen islands, quartz countertops, and walk-in closets. Full-size washer and dryer units will also be available in each apartment unit.
The Eden apartment will also include shared amenities such as a fitness center and rooftop lounge deck with a kitchen. What’s more, the apartment also provides a golf simulator room, dog spa, co-working lounge, and a resort-style pool area. Future residents will have immediate access to community gardens as well as a three-acre park. NRP Group will be the general contractor, while Austin-based Davies Collaborative will serve as the project’s architect.
The Eden apartment complex is due for delivery by the end of 2024. However, Inspire expects the rest of the Pearson Ranch project to take shape over the next 10 to 15 years. This development plan features about 2,500 condominiums and apartments, as well as 2.6 million square feet of office space.
