Phase one of the Hajar tourism project that was launched earlier in June this year has officially been completed. This was revealed in a statement by Stirling Hospitality Advisors (SHA), one of the leading boutique advisory institutions in the Middle East region. 

According to SHA, which is a subsidiary of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Hospitality Holding, the project aims to develop an attractive as well as a profitable destination that is appealing to both domestic and international travelers.

Scope of the Hajar tourism project

The Hajar tourism project, therefore, includes the development of one of the ridges of the Hajar Mountains. The mountains stretch along the northern coast of Oman, from the southwest region of Muscat to the United Arab Emirates.

From Dubai, the Hajar Mountains are a six-hour drive away making it an ideal getaway destination, especially for travelers looking for an adventure within the wild terrains. Upon completion, the Hajar tourism project will offer world-class real estate as well as hospitality. Moreover, it will highlight Oman’s very own, highest terrain as well as its unique history.

Remarks on this milestone

The Managing Director of SHA, Tatiana Veller, said that they are proud to be working with Oman’s stunning Hajar Mountains. Additionally, Vellers said that they look forward to continuing working alongside its partners, especially in driving new opportunities towards attracting investments.

Development of the Hajar tourism project phase two

SHA is currently initiating the second phase of the Hajar tourism project. The company will also look into the potential development of lifestyle boutique hotels, container camps as well as glamping solutions. It also aims to cater to diverse customer needs by raising the enhancement of tourism in Oman.
