The second phase of the Gateway Pointe Multifamily Housing development in Warner Robins, Georgia, has been completed by Capstone Building Corp, a Birmingham-based construction firm. This project is a part of the Warner Robins Redevelopment Plan and is designed to provide quality affordable housing to the community and City for many years to come.
The developers, Pennrose LLC, are also working in collaboration with the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center(GAVECTR) to ensure the provision of housing for military personnel in active duty and veterans. In addition, other onsite learning experiences will be offered in the VECTR program such as career counseling, educational coaching and workforce training.

Gateway Pointe Multifamily Housing location
The Gateway Pointe Multifamily Housing development is a mixed income community built on an approximately 15 acre city owned site; located on the south of Macon, near Robins Air Force Base.The $16.9 million housing project occupies a total of 96,356 square feet and offers 90 apartments, consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom units spread across four, three-story garden-style apartment buildings. A larger portion of this housing development will be restricted to households earning between 50% to 60% of the Area Median Income; 15 units will be available at the unrestricted market-rate; and five units are set aside for military personnel on active duty and veterans participating in VECTR programs.
Capstone, the lead general contractor on the Gateway Pointe Multifamily Housing development, also completed the first phase of the project in October 2019 and worked with Kitchen & Associates, who served as the lead architect for the project. Jay Chapman, the Capstone CEO mentioned that an incredible amount of effort was put into completing this project. Chapman also said the company was grateful for the opportunity to work for Pennrose, LLC and VECTR on such a meaningful project which is focused on bringing affordable and accessible housing to veterans in the Warner Robins area
