Plans for the construction of Hearts of Oak SC Stadium in Accra, Ghana, which will be home to Accra Hearts of Oak SC, a professional sports club based in Accra, and the reigning champions, are currently ongoing according to the club’s board member Vincent Sowah Odotei.
Odotei made the revelation during a ceremony to commission the Hearts of Oak Commercial Centre which is located on the same site where the club’s Asylum Down secretariat is located in Accra.
The Accra Hearts of Oak SC board member explained that Phobians’ goal to become a great club in Ghana and Africa can not be realized without facilities such as the 50,000-seat Hearts of Oak SC Stadium in Accra.

The stadium as well as the Hearts of Oak Commercial Centre projects are a part of four (quadruple) projects that the club is working on.

The rest of the projects include the club’s new head office, the sod-cutting ceremony of which took place after the brief commissioning ceremony of the Hearts of Oak Commercial Centre. A club’s training centre, which is under construction at Pobiman, spanning an area of twenty acres is the last of the projects.
