Accor SA, a French hospitality giant and owner of the Fairmont brand, will work in collaboration with the New York-based Development Ventures Group to build a new Fairmont Orlando hotel in Florida, which is scheduled to open in 2025.
Located on a 30 acre site, right in the heart of Orlando’s entertainment district and about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport, this new seven-story Fairmont Orlando hotel will be Accor’s 20th property in the US. The hotel’s location will be in close proximity to several premier attractions in the area and it’s aimed at attracting a broader travel demographic of visitors, who are more likely to spend more money in the area during their vacations. The building is designed to make provision for 44,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and it will also feature 550 guest rooms consisting of 90 suites, 12 villas, and 87 concierge-level Fairmont Gold rooms.
