Presidium recently broke ground on its new 358 unit luxury apartment dubbed Presidium Tech Ridge in Northeast Austin, Texas. The developer is building the four story apartment at 12212 Tech Ridge Boulevard, a rapidly developing region with notable tech companies. Additionally, the project’s design also integrates the natural landscape of the surrounding area, along with open spaces and connected trails.

One of developer’s main aims behind the Presidium Tech Ridge development is to lure Austin’s growing tech workforce. Especially those that have flooded Northeastern and Southeastern Austin in recent years. Several tech companies have established headquarters in the area, with a large workforce, such as Dell, General Motors, and Samsung.

Presidium’s V.P, Dustin Mattiza, said his company worked diligently with the city to select a location along Austin’s Spring-Fed creek. He pointed out that the project site provides access to five acres of dedicated parkland with an additional quarter-acre dog park. Therefore, residents at Presidium Tech Ridge will enjoy a resort-style living environment with endless options to work, live and play. The project is due for delivery by late-2023.

Design plans for Presidium Tech Ridge

Humphreys and Partners Architects will serve as the designers for the Presidium Tech Ridge development. The design plan for the apartment complex will feature one and two bedroom floor plans.

All units will be furnished with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wine coolers as well as washers and dryers. Several shared amenities will be available on the property such as a private pool with cabanas, dog parks, and game room.

On top of that, residents will have access to a theater lounge, golf simulator, gym, yoga studio and business center.

Furthermore, the Presidium Tech Ridge development will also feature environmentally conscious components which include thermal-efficient windows, and EV charging stations. The developer will also incorporate storm water quality management systems, energy-efficient appliances and green building operations into the project.

What’s more, a TEAL system will be used to provide a centralized hot water heating system. However, this heating system will use 40% less energy than other traditional water heating methods.
