Measures have also been taken by the University to ensure that the construction and renovation work  inside the  Clemson University Memorial Stadium takes place smoothly. The University recently informed the public about moving Howard’s Rock and its pedestal to a secure location during construction period, and also a strip of Williamson Road around the Stadium has been shrunk to one lane, while another portion will be cordoned entirely during the University’s winter break. Traffic will be opened to a single lane configuration when school resumes until the project is completed.

Other developments for the future phase of Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium remodeling, will cover renovations to the home team’s locker room, as well as revamping the Rogers Family parking lot. Ben Barfield, the Vice President and Division Manager of Brasfield & Gorrie said, the company was thankful for this opportunity to work on a facility which brings a large number of people together and he also mentioned that the renovations would improve the experiences on gameday for Clemson fans.

Bardfield expressed his excitement about starting work on one of the most visible structures on Clemson campus, which he described as an important edifice in the hearts of people throughout South Carolina. He also said that they were pleased to work on this project, especially since several of their teammates schooled at Clemson University.
