The station quarter project will be located between town’s railway station and Telford town centre. It will consist of new homes, additionally a digital skills and enterprise hub run by Telford College and the University of Wolverhampton.
Procured by Pagabo’s Major Works Framework, the project will join Willmott Dixon’s construction and development solutions expertise.The Station Quarter will act as a transformational development, £22.3million secured from the Towns Fund for the bid will bring a game-changer for Telford and the wider borough, helping boost the skills of the area’s workforce and bringing more new homes for local people. Willmott Dixon will partner the council and other institutions to help design development in preparation for the submission of a planning application in spring next year and also supporting the council to prepare business cases, which is the next stage in securing the Towns Investment Funding.

The station quarter project is the newest in a proud history of regeneration schemes for Willmott Dixon. In the summer of 2020, the company accomplished £20m regeneration of Rochdale Riverside, making 200,000 sq. ft of retail and leisure space to inspire inward investment to the town. Furthermore in the Autumn of 2020 they handed over the Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd to Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, bringing promising business and leisure scheme to replace a derelict 1960’s shopping centre.
