The Saudi SEVEN Al Hamra project in India has awarded its construction contract to Shapoorji Pallonji. The Indian-based company is a globally known, diversified conglomerate with a leading presence in engineering & construction.

Furthermore, Shapoorji boasts an impressive workforce of well about 40,000 people in over 40 countries. The company received the Saudi SEVEN Al Hamra project’s construction contract from Saudi’s PIF-backed Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN).

Saudi SEVEN Al Hamra project serves as a ‘path-breaking’ venture

The entertainment destination project’s total investment value is well over SAE 3 billion ($797.7 million). Furthermore, its development will be on a land area that spans over 90,000 meters squared. Additionally, the total built-up area has been confirmed to be 167,000 meters squared.

Standing tall and vast within Al Hamra, the project’s strategic location is right at the intersection of King Abdullah Road and the Eastern Ring Road. Quite impressively, the project is projected to attract 6 million visitors annually.

The entertainment destination will feature an array of SEVEN’s signature entertainment experiences. These include the Wave House Indoor Surfing, indoor skydiving as well as an indoor hub-less wheel. Not forgetting, the Clip ‘n Climb experience that will include 40 unique climbing challenges.

Moreover, the destination will also feature a 10-lane bowling alley, and an indoor karting racetrack alongside restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and international retail stores.

The Chairman of SEVEN, Abdullah AlDawood signed the project’s construction and management agreement with Vidya Sagar, the vice president of Shapoorji. While commenting on the project, Vidya Sagar, said that the project is in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The ambitious initiative strives to transform the region into one of the best places to visit as well as live. Furthermore, the vice-president continued, Shapoorji Pallonji is honored that SEVEN chose to partner with, on such a path-breaking venture project.
