Plans for a significant build-to-rent development has been approved by Cardiff Council for Galliford Try 30-storey tower. The leading UK construction group is developing the tower at the Marcol Estate at Guildford Crescent in Cardiff. The Galliford Try 30-storey tower will see creation of 272 new houses in which will provide modern, attractive, open plan living with full height windows in a one and two-bedroom mix tenure apartments reflecting the current demand in the City centre.
As well as becoming a new landmark in Cardiff, the tower will act as a catalyst for the Council’s proposed Canal Quarter regeneration ideas, with Galliford Try also offering works to improve the local public realm as part of the construction. The refreshed terrace on the ground floor will offer retail areas that will spill out onto the modern paved spaces bringing in a continental café style area. The tower will comprise a huge amount of attractive, shared residents amenity spaces which will offer areas such as games room fitness studio and resident lounge, along with flexible workspace and bookable private dining spaces. The other benefit to the residents is also a stunning roof top landscaped terrace on the 27th floor which will offer panoramic views across Cardiff Bay, the city centre and to the countryside further.

Build-to-rent Galliford Try 30-storey tower
