John Sisk & Son has been appointed as the contractor for Latitude Purple development, a £68m residential scheme in Leeds. The development is Hub Group’s first project in the city. The Latitude Purple development, which is located on the previous site of Doncaster Monkbridge Iron and Steelworks, will comprise of two residential structures, at 17 and 21 storeys tall. The scheme is the first residential development for Hub Group in Leeds and will comprise of 463 homes.

Latitude Purple Development to be a twin tower

The twin high rise will sit over a single level of basement, with a single storey podium deck over the basement at centre of the two structures. The podium will boast a landscaped area which will be accessible to the building’s residents, from the first floors. At ground floor, car parking will be availed below the podium deck. Car parking and bicycle holds will also be constructed in the basement, where storage, water tanks and MEP plantrooms will be installed. The external space of the structures is also set to have extensive landscaping to offer greener living area in the city.

The residential scheme.
