Construction of Ghana’s first 5-star multipurpose residential facility starts
Kingdom Hotel Investments Ghana (KHI), in partnership with MAN Enterprise, has commenced site mobilization and construction activities on Ghana’s first five-star multipurpose residential facility dubbed the Ambassador Heights.
The luxury development is an extension of the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel and it will comprise three and four-bedroom city homes for private ownership. Each home will enjoy its own garden and access to the amenities and services of the surrounding complex: concierge services, world-class dining, shopping, spa, swimming, and fitness, all in the comfort of a secure environment supported by 24-hour electricity and water supply.
The General Manager of MAN Enterprise, Mr. Clovis Abi Nader, said they are extremely excited to be developing this kind of project in Ghana and the region. He said Ambassador Heights will command an extremely high quality of international luxury standards.
Although work is expected to be completed by December 2015, the developers announced that only a limited amount of inventory in the second phase of the project is currently available for purchase. Mr. Abi Nader said discerning Ghanaians and Nigerians have been eagerly anticipating the start of the development which has realized a sell-out of its first phase of inventory.
Adinkra Heights is another such project which will add to the number of mixed-development facilities in Accra. The facility, to be executed by Switchback Developers, sits on a prime piece of land right opposite Accra’s 37 Military hospitals in an exclusive development zone in the city.
The concept of mixed-development is fast gaining prominence in the real estate/property development space across the world and Ghana is fast catching up on the trend. Recent years have seen hotel facilities built solely for residential purposes giving way to ones that blend office space with residential accommodation.
