The Winnipeg rental houses construction project has began to show progress since one of the two rental homes construction projects in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Canada was completed in November 1st, 2023. It is part of The National Housing Strategy the Federal Government has come up with to supply Canadian Residents with a home and solve the rising problem of houses in Canada.

Scope

Two separate projects are going one for the Winnipeg rental houses construction projects.The purpose of the two rental homes was to provide more homes for Canadian citizens. The first building began in April, 2022, at 150 Transcona Boulevard, housing 177 units, that was recently completed in November. It is a low-rise apartment consisting one to three bedroom units, proper utilities an in suite laundry. All inhabitants will has access to a gym, a lounges and an above and underground parking lot.

For the second project, construction began in May, 2023, right after the   the first project. The project while house 270 units across three buildings, also consisting a gym and an above and underground parking lots.

For the Winnipeg rental houses construction project, the first project valued $45.6 million for its completion and the second was a gaping $86.7 million. The contractors of this project, RCFi, are a movement pushing for the need of houses in Canada to solve the Housing Crisis in the country and supply most, or even all, citizens with a place to home.
