Near the Raleigh’s thriving Five Points neighborhood, a momentous transformation is underway as Raleigh senior living facility undergoes a remarkable redevelopment. With a substantial investment of $385 million, PruittHealth is spearheading the revitalization of The Oaks at Whitaker Glen – Mayview. This facility, known for providing independent living and skilled nursing care, is strategically located on Whitaker Mill Road, just a stone’s throw from the popular High Park Bar and Grill.

Neil Pruitt, the CEO of PruittHealth, revealed that this vision had been nurtured for over a decade. However, it was the global pandemic that acted as a catalyst, propelling the company forward with this Raleigh senior living facility redevelopment. While the company anticipates breaking ground in the spring of 2024, the first phase will only commence when 75 percent of the units are reserved. The entire multi-phase development is expected to conclude in approximately two years.
