A contract for the reconstruction of major roads in Abeokuta North has been signed. This was revealed by Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun.

Abiodun thanked the residents of Abeokuta North for their support. He also promised that the current administration would ensure that necessary amenities are provided throughout the state as part of its efforts to create a more hospitable and liveable environment.
Remarks on the contract signed for the reconstruction of roads in Abeokuta North
Abiodun revealed that the contract was recently signed following his on-the-spot examination of the roads. Abiodun made this known at Oba Adeleye Park while speaking on behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Abeokuta North local government unified wards meeting.
Additionally, he pledged to keep putting the development of the state’s infrastructure as a top priority.
The governor added that he went to the local government areas of Ilugun, Iberekodo, Saje, and Elega to demonstrate the significance of roads to Abeokuta’s and the state’s overall economic activity.
Commitment to other infrastructural developments alongside roads in Abeokuta North
Furthermore, he added that his administration had erected two new power transformers at Lafenwa Market to supply electricity. This complies with the promise he made to the traders during his previous trip to the market.
Abiodun stated that the goal of his visit was to learn firsthand about some of the challenges the local council was facing in order to address them. He further urged the party members to get ready for the upcoming general elections.
Additionally, the party’s state chairman, Yemi Sanusi, praised the governor for the extensive development of the state’s infrastructure. Similarly, he emphasized that the governor’s visit would give him the chance to learn about the needs of the locals.
