Lorena Plaza in Los Angeles to help expand the region’s supply of much-needed affordable housing

The development is Metro’s most recent endeavor to expand the region’s supply of much-needed affordable housing. The company aims to do this while giving its consumers new chances to live close to public transportation.

“The demand for accessible, long-term supportive housing has never been greater. A lot of people in Boyle Heights are having trouble paying their rent.

Projects like Lorena Plaza and the rest of the Metro Joint Development Program help to provide Angelenos with access to stable, affordable housing and opportunity by leveraging Metro property for housing and other community benefits,” said Metro Board Member and L.A. County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, who is standing in for the First District.
