The construction works for the Kalba Waterfront, the largest retail and first inclusive waterfront destination in Kalba, Sharjah, have been fully completed. The project development was a result of a joint venture between Eagle Hills and Shurooq. The latter is also known as The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority. The joint venture then formed the project’s developer, Eagle Hills Sharjah Development.

The latest world-class development aims to introduce family-friendly concepts in entertainment as well as retail. Moreover, the Kalba Waterfront aims to provide a distinctive and memorable touristic experience. Impressively, the project also offers investment opportunities that are still available.

An overview of the Kalba Waterfront

Set within Sharjah’s Eastern region, the waterfront project spans an area of well over 183,000 square meters. Shurooq’s Acting CEO, Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, revealed that the project features well about 1,600 square meters of a play area. The space will cater to the interests of visitors of all age groups. It will feature skating trucks, free-fall platforms as well as a trampoline.

In addition, Ahmed Obaid said that the Kalba Waterfront has been built in one of the most tranquil and beautiful areas in the country. The project will also offer activities such as wall climbing, rope walking, and simulators alongside video games. Moreover, the contemporary architectural design of the project offers a compelling and convenient shopping experience catering to all residents and guests.

The acting CEO of SHurooq also revealed that the Kalba Waterfront Project will include a variety of outdoor and indoor dining outlets as well as 80 units. Additionally, the project will also include an expansive promenade that aligns with the lagoon.
