Plans for the construction of Stillwell Jerome homes in Ohio were recently announced by Coastal Ridge Real Estate.

Earlier this year, the company launched other build-to-rent developments in Florida and Texas under its Stillwell brand. However, now its new plan involves bringing 230 build-to-rent homes to a master-planned community called Jerome Village in Plain City. Nationwide Realty Investors developed the Jerome Village community, with the aim of supporting Central Ohio’s growing population by providing more housing.

A partnership was formed between Coastal Ridge, Jerome Village, and Hallstatt Real Estate Partners on the project for the construction of Stillwell Jerome homes in Ohio. According to Jerimi Nuckolls, a director at Coastal Ridge, the project complements the lifestyle offered at Jerome Village.

Nuckolls said that they were anticipating the arrival of the first set of residents in the community by 2023.

Development plans for the Stillwell Jerome homes in Ohio

The new Stillwell homes will have access to 700 acres of parks and green space within Jerome Village. Furthermore, the development features a network of trails connecting to Glacier Ridge Metro Park. Besides the parks and green spaces, it also provides access to a clubhouse, fitness center, resort-style pool, and outdoor seating areas.

A mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom housing options are provided by the Stillwell Jerome homes in Ohio, along with private entrances and individual backyards. However, the majority of the homes will be detached, with the exception of the smallest homes, which will be duplexes.

Andy Lallathin, Coastal Ridge’s Co-founder said rents for the  Stillwell Jerome Homes were yet to be announced. But their prices would be in line with the area’s market rents rate. He mentioned that the property wasn’t age-restricted, but would most likely appeal to millennials, young professionals, and young families.

Lallathin also mentioned that this project was particularly important to Coastal Ridge because many team members are based in Central Ohio. Especially since the company’s corporate headquarters is located in downtown Columbus. The contractor working on the Stillwell Jerome Homes project is Hallmark Construction and the groundbreaking is set for this September.
