Angelo Gordon and Ridgeback has awarded United Living New Homes a multimillion-pound tender by to bring forward its Dumballs Road development’s new homes in Cardiff. The regeneration and development specialist will construct two blocks with 432 one and two-bedroom residential apartments. The Dumballs Road development’s new homes project will also offer indoor and outdoor amenity area, commercial area at the ground floor, a public square and extensive landscaping.

The £55m project situated at the heart of the Dumballs Road regeneration zone will also comprise of vital low carbon infrastructure, with solar panels and electric vehicle charging points contributing to sustainable development and helping Cardiff Council fulfill its vision of being a carbon-neutral city by 2030. Dumballs Road development new homes will be delivered in two phases and is set to complete in October 2024.

The chief operating officer at United Living Group, Conor Bray stated how the Dumballs Road development’s new homes contract is a good addition to United Living Group’s increasing portfolio of large-scale development schemes.”Cardiff is a prospering city that is developing and needs new, good quality housing to fulfill the demand and we look forward to playing a great role in offering the much-needed new homes that residents will be happy to call home,” he said.
