LOS1 Lagos Data Centre is a 10-megawatt data center that is being developed on a 4,946 square meters piece of land in Eko Atlantic, a new coastal city under construction on Victoria Island adjacent to Lagos, Nigeria.
With a Gross Building Area of 1,445 square meters and a Gross Leasable Area of 1,078 square meters, the LOS1 Lagos Data Centre is set to have 6 data halls with 6000 square meters of white space.
Some of its facilities include Critical IT load of 10.65MW, High Rack Density of 20KW, Connection to a 24/7 security operations center and service control center, and HVAC, power, and building critical systems managed 24/7 and generator backup, fueled to provide a minimum of 72 hours of backup fuel at full load, backed up by service delivery agreements with diesel vendors.

The facility is being developed in phases, the first of which will be delivered in November 2021.

The African Data Centre LOS1 is developed by Gateway Real Estate Africa, a private real estate development company specializing in turnkey construction projects in partnership with Africa Data Centres (ADC), Africa’s largest network of interconnected, carriers- and cloud-neutral data center facilities.
