Prima Ouaga Mall is a multifunctional shopping and leisure complex planned for construction in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. It is set to have a modern mall with an area of 9.837m² housing shops, a craft gallery, a hypermarket, a cinema room, and an event hall; in addition to a 5-star business hotel with a total of 120 rooms.

Supported by a resolutely contemporary architecture open to light, the Prima Ouaga Mall project blends harmoniously with the surrounding structures, more so the central market of the Burkinabè capital. Its design meets the requirements of new generation shopping centers.
Overview of the design
The mall is covered with a translucent canopy that rests on a supporting steel structure, which takes the shape of the tall trees of the African continent. Its composition is airy, organized in three independent poles, with a large internal circulation ensuring the link between them.
The first pole is a “medium area” dedicated to food and everyday consumer products, while the second is a leisure center that includes a restaurant lounge with a swimming pool, three cinemas, and games rooms. The third entity which includes diversified shops and catering areas is situated between the aforementioned poles, each of which is located at one end of the complex.
The Prima Ouaga Mall is bordered on all four sides by traffic lanes which, on the one hand, provide excellent service and easy access and, on the other hand, create a large parking lot for cars and two wheels.
Upon completion, it will work in synergy with the central market located a few blocks away, and to which it will respond architecturally by offering a new monument in the urban landscape of the capital. The monumental entrance is therefore placed in the perspective of the new major axis of the ZACA to stage its long architectural facade.

The Prima Ouaga Mall project is owned by Hyjazi Group, and it is designed by PFO Africa.
The Burkina Construction Company (BCC) will undertake the construction works.
