Palme d’Or is an 11-storey residential high-rise apartment in Century City, South Africa. The building is the fourth apartment block at the Oasis Retirement Resort and construction on the project was completed in 2016.
Palme d’Or was designed as a 50-unit apartment building, which offers a mix of one, two, and three bedrooms. The rooms have sizes ranging from 94 square meters to 228 square meters. A 24-hour concierge service is available at the building and it also has two elevators installed.

Residents of the Palme d’Or apartments can access the Oasis Club, just like all other Oasis apartment blocks. In addition, the building also includes amenities such as high-end finishes, covered terraces, and basement parking.
Two companies formed a joint venture dubbed Oasis, in order to develop the Palme d’Or apartment project. The joint venture partners involved in the project were Rabie Property Group and a Harries Projects consortium.

Construction of US$20.10m retiree apartment in South Africa to begin January 2015
Construction of Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) at the Oasis Luxury Retirement Resort in Century City will be launched in January next year according to a director of Oasis Joint Venture Colin Green.
The building will consist of 43 units – one, two, and three-bedroom apartments – ranging from 94m2 to 228m2 and having top-range finishes, terraces, and air conditioning. All apartments will also entail utility rooms and the one-bedroom ones will have study areas.
The 11-storey Palme d’Or building with a 24-hour security concierge will also constitute an “unashamedly upmarket” development according to Green.
In addition, each apartment has basement parking with a store room with an undercover link to the Oasis Club. They will be sold at a price range between US$59.36 to US$0.73m, VAT inclusive, and without transfer duty.
Oasis is a joint venture between Rabie Property Group and Harries Projects Consortium.
Construction of Palme d’Or apartments follows the successful completion of the third block of the Palm Royale which has 58 apartments.
Construction work on the Palme d’Or apartments begins in January 2015 with the occupation of the same set to be in June 2016.
