The Al Habtoor Tower construction project in Dubai continues to progress steadily, following its earlier official launch as a landmark high-rise development within Al Habtoor City. The project forms part of Dubai’s broader strategy to expand high-density residential infrastructure while strengthening its position as a global real estate hub.
Moreover, the development maintains continuity with the previously reported launch phase, as detailed in the earlier Construction Review article. The tower remains central to a phased construction strategy that now includes the recently drafted $1.36B Dubai Tower project, reinforcing large-scale vertical expansion within the same master development.
Current construction status (2026)
Construction has reached an advanced stage as of 2026. The tower has surpassed 70% overall completion, with structural works nearing the upper floors. Furthermore, the structure has risen to approximately the 70th floor, reflecting rapid vertical progress supported by accelerated construction techniques.
Earlier updates indicated structural completion exceeding 65%, with podium, basement, and parking levels already finalized. In addition, key systems such as vertical transport and interior works continue in phases. Mechanical, electrical, and finishing works are expected to intensify as the project approaches completion. The project remains on track for handover by late 2026.

Project positioning within wider construction pipeline
The Al Habtoor Tower continues to anchor development within Al Habtoor City. Its scale, design, and mixed-use integration position it among Dubai’s most prominent residential skyscrapers. Additionally, the project links directly to the newly announced Dubai Tower project worth $1.36B, which expands the same development corridor. This connection reflects a phased construction approach that builds on infrastructure, market demand, and investor confidence.
Meanwhile, the tower’s design incorporates over 80 floors and approximately 1,700 residential units. The development also integrates amenities, retail, and lifestyle facilities within its podium and surrounding areas, supporting a self-contained urban environment.
It aims to redefine urban living with world-class amenities. These include an indoor and outdoor relaxation space, multiple fitness and gym facilities as well as a library. In addition, there are infinity pools with 270-degree views of the Dubai skyline, luxury spa and sauna facilities. Furthermore, there are networking rooms, and resident cafes and restaurants.
Taking it a step further, the multi-billion development will also include 18 high-speed elevators. Moreover, the 82-storey development will also offer a spectacular 360° of the Dubai skyline.
In regards to structural design, an official statement said that the tower will be meticulously crafted with precision. With a complete schedule of 36 months, its construction will pay close attention to detail in order to offer an extraordinary lifestyle. As a whole, the Al Habtoor Tower Project strives to combine higher levels of privacy, convenience, and luxury.
Construction outlook and delivery timeline
The project continues to demonstrate strong construction momentum despite global supply chain challenges. Developers have adopted advanced engineering methods, including deep foundation systems and accelerated floor cycles. Consequently, the tower is expected to meet its targeted completion timeline in 2026, aligning with Dubai’s broader pipeline of high-rise developments.
Furthermore, the project contributes to job creation and sustained investment in the construction sector. It also reinforces Dubai’s reputation for delivering large-scale projects within compressed timelines.
