Anantara’s Ras Al Khaimah Resort Project has officially unveiled its goal for the year. Minor Hotels, made an announcement stating that the development targets to debut by the fourth quarter of 2023. Quite impressively, the resort is reported to feature sustainable initiatives and strategies. These include greywater water recycling as well as an on-site water bottling plant. Moreover, the resort will also include solar panels for water heating.
According to a press release, the resort is currently in its final development stages. Within the UAE, It is Minor Hotel’s ninth property, One of its key advantages as per the official statement is that it is a 45 minutes drive from the Dubai International Airport. Additionally, it is just 15 minutes from the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, boasting seamless convenience and accessibility.
Taking it a step further, the project’s overall sustainable initiatives extend to its construction process. As a result, the resort is being built with eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastics and fabrics as well as sustainable wood.

Anantara’s Ras Al Khaimah Resort Project’s Total Capacity
Anantara’s Ras Al Khaimah Resort Project comprises 306 hotel rooms, 174 guest rooms, villas, and suites. Furthermore, the development features the region’s inaugural overwater villas. Its location stretches along the Arabian Gulf coastline, within Mina Al Arab Island. In total, it will occupy an area of 71, 000 meters squared. Moreover, the resort features 1.5 kilometers, of lagoons and mangroves, all within a natural reserve.
RAK Properties back in 2021, awarded its project management contract to Hill International. While commenting on the project, the Senior Vice President of Minor Hotels Middle East said that it strives to offer guests sustainable luxury. Amir Golbarg further noted that it also aims to offer an unforgettable and magnificent experience, accompanied by expert service. Meanwhile, the CEO of RAK Properties said that as a whole, the development aims to embody the essence of Ras Al Khaimah.
