Plans are underway for the development of a 24 story Ryan Companies Office Tower in Plano, which the Minneapolis-based developer Ryan Companies expects to begin construction work on, by early 2022. This office tower is already 50% pre-leased to Ryan LLC, a global tax services and software provider, who intends on relocating from the Galleria office tower and setting up their company’s headquarters at this new location. JLL will oversee the leasing of the remaining office spaces.

The 400 square foot Ryan Companies Office Tower in Plano is to be developed in Legacy West, at Highway 121 and Windrose Drive, on the outskirts of Dallas; the building designs are being handled by Architects Gensler. This office tower will feature several indoor amenities for tenants such as  tenant lounges,  conference rooms, a fitness center and a café. Outdoor facilities will include structured parking spaces, with an abundance of green landscaping, and parking spots for bicycles. The developers expect this office space to be operational by 2024.

Paul Rowsey, the Vice President of Real Estate Development at Ryan Companies spoke highly of the project. Rowsey said that the new Office Tower in Plano would serve in complementing the retail and dining options, which are already booming in Legacy West. He also stated that the Class A office building is aimed at bringing value to the prospective office tenants and offering them an elevated experience.

The Vice president of leasing at JLL, Ahnie Sheehy, also spoke on the potential of this new Office Tower in Plano. Sheehy said, “As the return to the office continues to evolve month to month, this space will allow future tenants the ability to live, work and play seamlessly in a true mixed-use environment.” 

Ryan LLC is anticipating this new development and the Senior VP and chief real estate officer at Ryan, Robert Wertz said that the company is excited about relocating their headquarters to this first class Office Tower in Plano. Wertz pointed out that the site was a choice location, as it is within the reach of many clients and employee residences in the dynamic Plano. He also said, “The office space and immediate surrounding area offer unparalleled amenities that will provide a superb experience for our employees.”
