Since its inception in early 2025, Hazoor Multi Projects Limited’s (HMPL) ₹2,500 crore investment for a 500 MW solar park project in Andhra Pradesh has moved into its regulatory phase. As of July 2026, the project is advancing through the state’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) review process. This is being overseen by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation (NREDCAP) to clear the final statutory challenges for the project’s 2,000-acre site in the Prakasam district.
This progress is also in-line with Andhra Pradesh’s broader initiative to position itself as an emerging green hydrogen and clean energy hub. HMPL has also expanded its regional operational presence. The company is capitalizing on its momentum from a 1.2 GW deployment in Maharashtra and the execution of its ₹913 crore solar EPC contract at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. This is as India continues to grow its renewable energy portfolio with other projects such as 600MW/550MWh TUSCO Jhansi Solar Park project in Uttar Pradesh.
