Turner Construction Company has won the $94 million contract for Chubb’s new HQ interior fit-out in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Turner, which is already managing construction of the 18-story building, will now also be responsible for overseeing the interior work on the 550,000-square-foot building.
Upon completion, the headquarters will feature a state-of-the-art work space that is designed to facilitate collaboration, drive innovation, and support the long-term growth of Chubb’s workforce. The new office space is designed to foster productivity while mirroring the company’s roadmap for the future.
“We’re proud to continue working alongside Chubb on this milestone project,” said Dave Kaminski, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company. “This interior fit-out reflects our mutual dedication to quality and forward-thinking design, ensuring that Chubb’s employees have a cutting-edge workspace that enhances their daily experience. Our team looks forward to contributing our expertise to this transformative endeavor.”
The interior build-out will be completed by spring 2026, when the building’s official opening is scheduled for Spring/Summer 2026. Chubb has approximately 1,950 employees in Philadelphia and the greater Pennsylvania region today and plans to more than double its presence with the addition of at least 1,250 new jobs at the new headquarters, which will be the firm’s largest North American office. Chubb has committed to preserving 3,200 Pennsylvania jobs over the course of the next five years.
The company’s expansion in Philadelphia will create career opportunities in areas such as digital technology, finance, underwriting, and claims. The headquarters location near some of the region’s top universities also will be a source of talent. Chubb also will be hiring for its newly established apprenticeship program, which offers career opportunities in claims, underwriting, and technology for individuals without a four-year college degree.
