Site mobilization will begin in the coming weeks for the Fleming Solar Farm, a 235-megawatt-peak (MWp) photovoltaic project in Fleming County, Kentucky, ACCIONA Energía announced. The step marks an early construction milestone as the Spanish renewable energy developer moves toward bringing the plant online in May 2028.

The Fleming Solar Farm will be ACCIONA Energía’s fifth photovoltaic plant in the United States and its 18th renewable energy asset in the country overall. The company currently operates approximately 3 gigawatts (GW) of installed renewable energy capacity across the U.S., spanning photovoltaic, solar-thermal, wind and energy storage assets.
