Burns & McDonnell is expanding its Northeast operations with the hiring of three industry professionals and the development of its New York City presence, building on decades of effectively managing and delivering projects for customers in the region. Burns & McDonnell’s new 9,000-square-foot office at 875 Sixth Avenue will allow the firm to expand its work in the vertical commercial, healthcare, logistics, life science, and mission-critical market sectors, while also strengthening the firm’s expertise in delivering renewable energy, power, aviation, federal, manufacturing, major infrastructure, and digital optimization solutions.

Burns & McDonnell has completed over 4,500 projects in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut during the last 20 years. Burns & McDonnell is providing design and construction support for a new US$4 billion state-of-the-art Delta Air Lines terminal at LaGuardia Airport, among other projects. The program is on schedule. The first concourse, which opened in October 2019, received an ENR Merit Award.
