Occupying over 2.1 hectares Denka Business City, is a multi-billion naira, multi-use, multi-faceted project located at the heart of new Owerri in Imo State, which upon completion will become the first solar commercial hub and focal point for business activities in the State has been initiated.

The project comprises a mix of shops and offices blended with two-bedroom and one-bedroom serviced commercial apartments. In total it will have 270 shops delivered in 3 malls of 90 shops each. The 2 bedroom commercial apartments totaling 36 will be in 2 blocks of 18 apartments each, while the one-bedroom apartments totaling 24 will be in 2 blocks of 12 apartments each.

The entire city will be powered by solar energy operated on a mini-rigid infrastructural platform, and all basic facilities such as tarred roads, street lighting, and water will be provided. The city will also have a water reticulation system, maintenance facilities, waste disposal facilities, and security services.

The Denka Business City project is powered by SolarCity Ltd and Fidelity Bank who are the major financiers and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) cooperatives, the active subscribers to the project.

Geometrix Consultants and Builders Ltd, Revacom Real Estate Value Aggregation Company, Alpha Juris Chambers, FPCP Consult, and Metamoforces Engineering Limited are also a part of the project team.
